I read Chapter 2 of the LS User Guide, but it only provides instructions for a default installation, i.e. lpd8 will be installed. What happens to the already installed lp8 server and its settings?
Also in Chapter 2, pp. 30-31, it says that the single-user version can be converted to a multi-user version by entering a purchased lp8 server license number. No problem, except I am concerned about losing my settings.
Finally, I tried requesting a 30-day trial for ls4e through the OP site, but when I submitted all required data it barfed.
