I'm having a similar problem as Cali on the Mac side on my development machine.

Refomatted and clean Mac OS 9.0.4
FMP 5.0v3
Explorer 5.0
UltraDev 4.01
Lasso Studio 1.5.5
LSWDE 3.6.6 (although I've noticed that the "production" version of
WDE, which I haven't yet set up on my webserver, is 3.6.6.2).
My IP address is static.

I cannot load the snapshot file due to the "Snapshot does not contain
any databases. Please check your server configuration and Lasso
security" message.

I've tired using different databases with different file extensions -
no luck. I've set up FMP and FMP remote both to look at port 591 -
no luck. I've checked the Lasso security settings numerous times -
no luck. I've even moved the database around to different folders.
I've made sure that the database were up and running - they were.

I'm either missing something REALLY simple or something is seriously amiss.

Ditto Cali on the "HELP" request.
