Yes, I was on this very list months ago complaining about it. I use a 400MHz machine with 192MB of RAM. I basically had the same problems as you. I then decided it was time I gave my hard drive a new start on life. I backed everything up. I re-initialized and did a low level format. I installed DW3 and then the 3.01 update. Then I installed Lasso Studio. Ever since, I haven't had a problem. I don't know what to tell you but there is some combination of circumstances that cause LS4DW to freak out.
But now, Lasso is freaking out in other ways. I still have no fields in my Snapshot! I can't do anything! (Well, I can, but now I'm dependent on Studio!)
