Thanks for the reply. There's a little bit of comfort in knowing that I'm not the only one with the template problem.

Since writing that last post, I played around with the preferences with the LS4DW plugin settings a bit, setting the Translation preferences for the Lasso Hidden Input Translator and the Lasso LDML Translator to automatically translate only files with the extensions "las" and "lasso". If your files use the .htm or .html extension, you can probably just type this in.

The main thing is that the plugin should leave .dwt files alone.

You can access these settings from the Edit::Preferences menu in Dreamweaver. Switch to the "translation" category (on the left side of the preferences dialog) and then select the Lasso Hidden Input Translator (on the right) to modify it's properties. After that, select the Lasso LDML translator to do the same.

I'm hoping this will work, but haven't really used LS4DW enough since making the changes. Since the problem was intermittent to begin with, it'll take some time before I really know.
