I'm using the same tutorial. An [inline] on the search page (page 47 of the
tutorial) adds a record to the Carts database and populates the CartID field with
the value of the cookie:CartID. There is a relationship between the Carts and
OrderItems databases: each one has a relationship to the other through the CartID
field.

I didn't know Dunning had also written a book -- I thought the tutorial was all
he'd done in this area. I've found it to be very helpful.

You may also want to check out Mason Miller's shopping cart. You can download it
at www.netstreet.net. The approach is different. Looking at both of these really
gives you some insights into Lasso programming.
