RE: BWC Support Incident #15412 (DO NOT CHANGE SUBJECT)
In the manual clearly says in two lines how you can use a Link tag within an Inline tag to be able to go into another page. it also explains how you can do a search by specifying arguments using Variables and the search action within an Inline.
i must be the newest newbie, but although i have been using Lasso Studio for GoLIve for the last two weeks, i dont believe the explanations are sufficient, i rather see a real example on how to enter those tags into the Inline tag. i can do the links and searchs with no problem by writing in the source, however, i agreed to use Lasso Studio with the little icons, tag editors, etc...to make my life and my manager's life easier.
Please, i have been in the following websites as i was advised, and they didnt help at all, as they led me to shopping websites, where i can buy the books to learn how to use Lasso Studio. i ask: can i have some help without having to buy books, the Lasso Talk is also very useful but i dont see too many messages about basic staff. Thanks for all your help in Advance.
There are many resources available in the Lasso community which provide an excellent venue for learning how to build professional Web applications with Lasso.
In the Lasso Tools folder which is installed with the Lasso WDE there is a GoLive folder containing LDML templates for add, search, update, hitlist, and detail pages.
The Lasso Studio for GoLive list, and the Lasso Talk list are excellent resources for resolving problems, and getting answers to common questions. Both of these lists have on-line searchable archives at: .<http:////listsearch.blueworld.com>
We offer a Lasso Solutions page on our Web site where developers can share their work with each other.
Brian Dunning offers his Mastering Lasso Course work online at: <http:////www.briandunning.com/books.shtml>
Advanced Software Training has a set of CDs available for learning Lasso: <http:////www.advancedsoftwaretraining.com/ware_list.lasso>
I hope that these resources are enough to get you going in the right direction.
