I'm trying to install Eclipse and LP on separate machines (both running RHEL4).
I cannot see a Lasso Studio for Eclipse Group in Lasso Site Administration, even I have the EclipseSupport.LassoApp file: bash-3.00# ls -l /usr/local/Lasso\ Professional\ 8/LassoStartup/ total 164 -rw-rw-r-- 1 root wheel 6945 Jul 13 20:11 EclipseSupport.LassoApp -rw-rw-r-- 1 root wheel 136728 Sep 16 20:56 Startup.LassoApp -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 2382 Aug 31 14:05 uhtml.LassoApp
Perhaps the reason why I cannot see the group is because I'm not using the rpm that followed with LSfE? I downloaded and installed LP 8.1 instead. Do I really have to use the older "Lasso-Service-8.0.5-1.i386.rpm"?
BTW; It was possible to use the serial number I got for the Eclipse version for LP8.1
I also got the following error while installing the Eclipse rpm: bash-3.00# rpm -ivh Lasso-Studio-Eclipse-1.5.0-1.i386.rpm Preparing... ########################################### [100%] /var/tmp/rpm-tmp.56794: line 9: [: too many arguments 1:Lasso-Studio-Eclipse ########################################### [100%]
