As the owner of the Data Web Center, I'd like to offer a brief observation we are seeing that may not be obvious to the overall community.
Lasso is coming of age and we expect many exciting things to happen in 2003 for our growing community. Third party companies are coming on board and embracing Lasso technology such as the recent announcement of FrontBase now working with Lasso through JDBC. The huge MySQL community is starting to look up and take notice as well.
Lasso developers are creating fully functional applications such as the LDCMS mentioned in an announcement earlier today on LassoTalk that truly blows away products built with any application.
Lasso developers are also building new innovative tools saving tremendous development time including the truly cool POPMill and AutoValidate.
The recently announced Lasso Studio for Adobe GoLive is the next generation Studio that really brings live dynamic content easily to the static web development community. We are already seeing a surge in Lasso Studio sales.
The above insight is just the tip of the iceberg and are aware of other new alliances, products and applications coming to the Lasso community in 2003. We expect to look back on 2003 as the year the Lasso began its march towards universal name recognition and viewed as the "V-8" of rapid dynamic web development.
Commercial with IT person slapping head with hand saying; "Gee, I could of done this cheaper, better and faster with Lasso!"
