Hi folks,

Finally making the big plunge from FM6 web publishing with CDML to full out
FM7SA/Lasso etc. Of course, I envision many bumps along the way... and this
is my first.

Currently, I have enabled the database/table/fields and all is working. I
created a snapshot with the Lasso Snapshot editor and all my field show up.
I was even able to use the "Lasso Site Builder" to create a simple "Add"
page... which actually worked (i.e. I could create a new record in FM.)

Now... in what seems like it should be a simple task, I want to add some
radio buttons that get their values from a FM defined value list. Lasso
documentation (IMHO) is kind of weak on how to do some basic things. Hence,
I use the site builder to create examples I can learn from.

Unfortunately, no matter what I do, Site builder will not create radio (or
checkbox) buttons based on a value list. I've even unsuccessfully tried the
form builder to just give me one field based on a value list.

In trying to track this down... the documentation for Lasso Studio indicates
on both page 77 and 84 how the Snapshot editor indicates whether a field has
a value list associated with it or not.
Likewise, the instructions mention that "If the currently selected table
has any value lists available then this option is available" -- referring to
the "Fetch Value Lists for this Table" checkbox.

I imagine this could be the key/clue to my problem, as my Snapshot Editor
never gives me the option to check the "Fetch value lists...".

The table I'm using does indeed have value lists being used in the layout.
However, I'm not exactly sure what it means to have a table have "any value
lists available." Other than having value lists being used in a layout, is
there anything else I have to do in FileMaker to "assign" a value list to a
table? Or "assign" a value list to a field?

When I use the Lasso Snapshot editor... none of my fields indicate "Y" or
"N" to determine whether a value list is in effect for that field. (Again...
never have been able to "Fetch the value lists..."

I can't seem to find any place in the Lasso Connector/Admin setup to somehow
activate/assign/enable value lists. Am I missing something here?
